List of Most Recent Questions Across All Categories

Ed. I know this was being considered, but this was some time ago now. Is it still in the pipeline? I am sure it would be used a great deal and would save us trawling over all the categories when we log in. Also, some questions do not easily fit into one specific category so the poster puts them in the most suitable - hence they can be missed by people who might be able to offer help.

Or, at least could the 'current questions' and 'most popular questions' sections on the homepage be updated more often? Some of the 'current' questions there have been around well over a week, and some of the 'popular' questions haven't been added to for weeks!
