can we have an annexe for all the slightly off the wall suggestions and threads and people and Russians? it would just need a small area of the monastery garden, there could be special herbs grown there that they can breathe in legally and then they may reach a higher plain of understanding.

oh I know you are just here for your own amusement Dot, I totally get that about you, and you've said so often enough. Which is why it surprised me that you give SR any airtime, but of course, that could be because she amuses you too. Why complain about SR when you don't take any of it seriously, unless you want to stir up others on AB (who take things more seriously than you), to further your own amusement lol and fair play to you , you do it very well :o)

I really, honestly and truly think you take it too seriously. By that i mean the 'banter' side of AB, not the genuine Q and A stuff.

And i know you will think i am being patronising again, but i can assure you that i am not (this time!)

i have not been on ab long but what i find is that if someone does not understand another's sense of humour ie "they dont get it" then they go on the offensive and attack that member, i find dot utterly hilarious whereas there are others who some find funny but i find myself wondering what everyone is laughing at, what is dot meant to have done wrong with this post? was she not just injecting a bit of humour? why are you all jumping on her? x x x x

Some like her humour. Some like mine. (And some may even like SR's... who knows.)

BUT... i would like to take the view that we can all get along on this site... are we not all adults...?

I wasn't jumping on Dot in any sense of the word, I truly like her style as I hoped my lols and smiley would indicate. I just find the whole SR thing tedious, and that's where I came in, though also advocating a live and let live policy. Dot's repsonse gave the chance to highlight this and so I did. The mad/cofnused/hypocritical thing wasn't aimed at dot (I was thinking specifically of a user who has left) but when she asked, I answered honestly. Now and then users posts and behaviour are intriguing, and I guess today, Dots were intriguing to me, but I really don't waste much time pondering the motives of Abers, cos life is truly too short.
Dot, I am honestly and sincerely sorry if I caused you the slightest offence. It was merely intended as a bit of thinking aloud, but I shall fret no more, I assure you :o)

My point is simply that there are a lot of us who find constant whittering about SR et al extremely tedious.

I would like to apologise if my humour has seemed cruel in any way.

Although i am sure this whole issue is thoroughly done to death, now... Hell... that garden with the herbs sounds quite enticing after all the 'atmosphere' on here yesterday.

lol fee...the herbs are very pleasant, I thoroughly reccommend them. never been on msn in my life, so not sure where that leaves the conspiracy theorists are. There are certainly ALOT of wind up merchants on here, but I don't think they need msn to achieve their aims... lmao ;o)
