Over here at AB HQ we've been lookin' at the ole AB and thinkin' to ourselves "what can we do to make it better?" and as we trawl through the seemingly endless list of suggestions y' all have so graciously offered over time, we've noticed that some suggestions, though amusing, probably will not make the cut. To see the top ten suggestions that will never be - check out the Blog.
Also, we have suckered in someone to help out with the moderating and after explaining what a "BiddyBanker" is, she has settled in nicely. She is a lot more mean than me and is known to carry a big stick, so beware!

Welcome oh wise moderator. Incase they missed it out in your training, one vital thing to remember, those who post in Football (and to a lesser degree Sport) are your friends. They are witty, charming, knowledgable, funny, patient, life-affirming, exuberant, chatty and, of course, uniquely modest. You will never have any trouble with them (ahem), well, not until the footie season starts anyway...... :o)

Dolly, I am in the habit of 'clearing out my cache' when I sign off my computer (tools> internet options> delete files/cookies) to keep my computer sleek and lightweight, and as a useful habit in case I ever use a public computer. (It discourages subsequent users from tracking what I've been doing, spotting my credit card number etc.) That also clears away the poll results, which means that to see them again I have to vote again. Perhaps the Ed could split it up so you can see the continuing results without actually voting?
