mentioning cancer as an insult

can certain members refrain from wishing cancer on to others as an insult? there are 10000000 other insults or comebacks that can be used, i lost someone very close to me to cancer so i dont appreciate it pixel or otherwise, if it was said in my presence i would smack the Sayer on the mouth, its isn't remotely funny in fact its sick

i know exactly who you are on about and whilst I dont particularly mind that user, I find this insult he uses to be very distasteful.

It isn't necessary I agree, and if anyone on AB has to feel that there is such a serious issue they have to resort to such extreme and wicked put-downs, it is also time they resigned their memebership.
WM does contribute and I have had some amusing exchanges of banter with him, but I think that any other aber responding in this way would have been removed by now. I know it is an extreme view, but WM seems to feel he is beyong censorship, Ed removed his ID once, unless he sees fit to curb his tactless and hurtful responses, however stupid or pathetic the post he is responding to is, i shall excercise my right to avoid responding to him, not that that is much of a demonstration of disapproval on my part, but it is an option.

I'm not sure who any of you are talking about as although I'm a fairly regular poster I don't see myself as part of the AB "inner circle" (for want of a better term) , but I think it is absolutely monstrous that anyone would wish cancer on a fellow human being.
