Speaking in adverts

Why do some adverts have people's mouths moving but the sound is all out? It looks really unprofessional to me and looks worse that someone actually speaking. It's like those martial arts films that are filmed in a different language but has people speaking over them in English so we understand and the actor's/actresse's mouth is still moving after the sentence is finished.

this is because, if it is a pretty person but don't have a good/catchy voice, they replace it with someone that they think sounds better.

i agree though, it does look and sound bad!

its because the original advert was recorded and transmitted in other countries....
then they dub them to suit the UK tv....
