The AB Suggestions Page

Hi All!

Sorry I have been unable to respond to any questions on the Suggestions page as I have been ill all this week. In answer to some of the questions about sub-topics - We are still working to improve the format of the AB to make the new sub-topics easy to use. This is a long process as it involves moving old questions and answers, and discussions into new sections. My being ill has put us a bit behind, but our dedicated team has been working on making the AB the best Q & A site on the web.

The new improvements will make the sub-topics easy to navigate, and even allow for discussion of questions, so please put up with our growing pains for now!

Also, in response to a question about whether or not the AB team use the AB Suggestions page - the answer is YES!

I can't speak for what has happened in the past, but over the last two months, the AB team has checked the Suggestions page every day as we work on improving the site. Almost every improvement we are working on comes directly from a user's suggestion.

Finally, a user has suggested that the AB is building a 'premium rate' site. That is completely false. We are proud to work on a site that offers a valuable service to users for free, and we will continue to offer that service for free in the future.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions, even though we aren't able to answer every email or suggestion personally we are reading and using your suggestions everyday!

This may be the funniest thread response I've ever seen. I don't come on here that much these days but it's amazing how far Chinese whispers can travel. All this speculation over who did what to whom and how... wonderful!

I made the original reference to AnswerbankPlus+ for reasons no better than satire, but for some reason there are people on here who seem to have taken it far too seriously. What happened on quisling/quizzunk/whoever's thread as I genuinely have no idea about latest events?

From memory, it was Quizzling who suggested that this site will have to be paid for and was banned see the link in ma first post. He/she pointed the finger at me as being the user mentioned by Miss Ed but going under the name of vidunk hence ma Quizzunk...I'm now losing the will to live...

Just read through the origional post and didn't see any mention of money changing hands btw.
