<<<<< Hobbies, etc., is over there in Society & Culture.
Sorry Emma - phone rang & had to rush off to answer it!

I'm sure the Hobbies & Interests sub-category will cover all the enjoyable things you mention.
The trouble is, no one has posted in hobbies about crafts yet.(at least I haven't noticed any). Why don't you start the ball rolling?--I'll join in.
Barbara
Well there's one here:

http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Society-and-Cul ture/Hobbies-and-Interests/Question316147.html

There have been more too.

Also, not sure if you're aware, but if you click on the red Topics box, it opens up all the sub-categories for you to see at a glance.

Just trying to be helpful - off out now.
I also posted one myself back in November:

I'm really off out to brave the windy weather>>>>>>

The first post I did see ,(3/11) but it had already been answered well so I didn't add to it.
The other post (13/11) was about fountain pens, which was hardly about the crafts mentioned above, and I think it got rather heated, so again I didn't post.
I hope Emma posts and then we can get going.
Thanks smudge anyway.
Yes rogerr-Barbara - my thread was about fountain pens, but it also mentions the art of wrting in cards & on parchment paper. If you look on Craft websites, they also also include writing implements.

Also, seeing as you've brought it up - plenty of interested, sensible people posted on that light hearted thread & the fact that it may have got heated, sadly goes to show that there are some so ready to jump in & make it not so light hearted!

You can't win!
I seem to have upset you--sorry.
As you say, you can't win!
No, roger-barbara, you haven't upset me at all.

My 'You can't win' wasn't meant for you. I was simply saying that, because I'd posted a nice lighthearted thread about fountain pens, had received some sensible, interesting answers, but it didn't take long for one or two people to jump in & for it to go off on a tangent.

No hard feelings & I do hope the Ed consider Emma's request .

Have a nice evening.
P.S. Wasn't sure whether to call you by your username rogerr or Barbara?
Cheers Smudge--and yes it's fine to call me Barbara. I signed on originally using my rabbit's name, not knowing what this site was like. Now everyone thinks I'm a bloke!
Regards
Barbara
Ha, ha, that did tickle me! I thought p'raps your partner/husband's name was rogerr, but it was a rabbit after all! At least we all know you're a 'lady' now!

Regards,

Smudge (our cat's name - now sadly in Heaven).
