Putting something back

How about a category where people can advise others of opportunites for voluntary and charity work, appeals, campaigns and all that kind of thing that people can get involved with eg details of Christmas shoebox appeals, Blue Peter appeals, dates of fun runs and such.

People can also ask about opportunities in their area and for advice on organising and running charity events etc...

Would be nice as there are so many lovely people on here who I am sure would love to do something worthwhile and for all the people who ae feeling a bit lost and lonely could give them a good place to go for ideas, ditto people wanting experience and such.

I am still handing out empty shoeboxes for the appeals jenna, we start saving them in October room permiting and people are so surprised when we have them ready and waiting, i feel i am doing my bit for the charity!!!!!!!!!lol

i have asked a few times for people ideas for things i can do charity wise and only usually receive a couple of answers, so i don't know if the catagory would be often used - but hey, it certainly cant hurt so I am very for it.

i think we are adult enough to know what is going on in the world and may not require assistance in you telling us, everyone does their own thing for charity if they wish, if you are so concerned then may i suggest working in oxfan rather than posting questions on this site....... : )
