Answers disappearing

Has anyone else noticed that answers are being removed for no reason from posts?. I have just looked back to a question posted earlier and there are only 2 answers left.
This happened on a post yesterday too.
The removed answers were not offensive in any way, just questioning an answer given, or offering a different opinion.

Funny you should mention that. The question yesterday about Royalty lost its first answer.

There's one on the next page that has lost it's first answer too plus some of the others.
The one i noticed yesterday has been reinstated.

All the answers on Fredas Royalty Q post are still there in my profile including your answer Aquagility and they are all there in the thread when I just looked back. Very strange .

I've just heard from the Editor by email. Apparently I was suspended for posting three answers in five minutes. So watch out, all you who like to be helpful - don't over do it!

I don't understand what the problem is either, I thought this was a question and answer site. Maybe the editor should give some sort of explanation in the weekly news letter we receive.

Aquigility,I have never heard such tosh in my life,what the hell is this site for,I always thought it was for giving answers to questions,regardless of wether you answer three or thirty inside five minutes.I think it will have to be re-named NO ANSWER BANK unless one wants suspending.Sorry to hear about you being suspended for such a thing as this site was set up for.How lomg did they suspend you for?

This is very strange indeed. I was recently checking back on a previous question I was involved in and as I watched, the original answer, which was quite legitimate, just disappeared.
Anyone viewing this now will see a thank you for a non-existant answer followed by my later suggestion.
A new name for AB could possibly be The Twilight Zone'.

Now I understand why I was not allowed to post some answers earlier. If there is some restriction we should be told.
