It seems you can get banned as a result of personal vendettas on here, Is it that easy because the most inocuous posts seem to vanish. Will an innappropriate report get you banned?
If so it's a wonder there is anyone at all on here.

No I didnt suggest. Yes 3 can report you but not BAN you, that is up to the ED

3 or 4 people are not in control! as 4get has said, it takes 3 or 4 people reporting a post for it to be brought to the attention of the ED. The ED cant be on here 24 hours a day so of course there is a system where posts are removed if people report them so that the ED can then review them.

there may be some 'trigger happy' folks who report a question because its by a person they dont agree with but unless its against Site Rules it will be instated.

I certainly would never pin it down to 3 or 4 people. Ive reported posts in the past but have never targeted a specific person.

what if someone posted a sick question about children one friday evening. Would you prefer to see it still on the site until the ED came to work monday morning or would you hope that enough reported it to be removed?

youre not banned, the question is. It may just have been withdrawn because it was duplicated.
Perhaps the ED will turn up and settle this once and for all as you seem to be getting rather het up about it.

I have never seen a question re-instated.
How do you know this site is not staffed at weekends.
It still seems this site is controlled and dominated, otherwise please explain where mine went that was completely harmless.
The Site Rules also remind users of the correct use of reporting, is this being abused.
