how many hours a week on AB is considered healthy?

How many hours a week do you spend here? Do you find it's taking over your life? Or do you have a job to go to that is much more important?


Do you feel loyally attached to here and hate newbies trying to steal your thunder?

i am very addicted for some very odd reason :) i think every one on ab is great most all very kind . i get bored very easy so never use to be on the computer much but on here to much at mo . but it is a great laugh now i have got to know some off you lot . i dont mind the newbies all good fun xx

Well i've become a real workaholic so only get to come on here for a couple of hours early evenings and weekends. Must admit I was becoming quite addicted to it though!

Not sure which is worse actually, working too much or using AB to much lol!

posy i just hate the rowing what goes on in ab . i think that spoils it . such a shame for people to be so nasty to each other . i think i have said one nasty thing to some one all the time i have been on here . i dont like rowing face to face so wont do it on here no point ,

I think it is a very small group of people who are insulting, and some of these are multiple identities of single persons.

They are craving attention, so the best thing is to ignore them.

I tried to wean myself off AB a while ago, but it is a bit like the smoking advert with the guy on a fish hook.

I must admit I havent posted here for a long long time. The aggro and hatred from long tie users was getting far too much for a question and answer site. Certain members felt that they had a major hole over the site just because they happened to sign on here first and would try to intimidate the others or if someone new came along and proved to be more popular they would spread nasty rumors and try to discredit them through msn etc. This happened on more then one occasion to several people you know who you are....

Does it still happen now?

hi spurslady, i have not been on here for nearly 3 months really, just popped into the history/genealogy topic to keep up, been back almost a week now and yet again the nasty gits are out in force to try to dominate the boards and make themselves popular, the site still has a strong attraction for alot of the people who have been her awhile, who realise that the attention seeking saddos will always try to play it their way and ridicule and diss the people who really do get along and trust one another, and despite several vain attempts to take control of this particular topic , there will always be room for genuine new people and those who stay loyal to their AB family, which is as strong as ever it was and hopefully will remain so, even when others try to lie and abuse others for little or no sound reason.
