Ha, this is funny - i cant hear this on my computer? Can you maybe tell me in which section you are when you hear these sounds - would like to hear this too??

It was in B&S and it was an advert at the top of the page. Everytime the mouse cursor was dragged over it, it would make an annoying roaring noise. I haven't seen it this morning though! Thankfully!

Haha! talk about another one jumping on the bandwagon! its different to how it originally was lot more functionality you can upload pic create a profile and the layout has changed before you slate it off why not try it?

i refuse to waste my slow internet connection on loading adverts - i suggest you do the same!
Instead of using explorer etc try downloading Mozilla Firefox, to this you can load add-ons (selected from the mozilla homepage) one of the most helpful being Adblock Plus. This allows you to load a profile of typical ad pics to be banned from being displayed - one very very rarely does pop up (happened twice in the last year) but you can simply all it to you profile of banned items... brilliant stuff and makes the pages load faster if you don't have a super fast broadband

When i say adverts i mean adverts not pop ups as in the adverts on this site. Last week it was carol vorderman now its other things.

I get ads on the lap top with Norton 2007, but not on the desktop with Norton 2005.

If anyone can tell me how to block adverts on the laptop I will be eternally grateful.

i'm not taking about pop ups either - i'm talking about the ads that are shown on the banners and sides of pages e.g. i have no idea what you are on about with carol v? i guess she must have been blocked...

to hid these ads - use mozilla and not explorer - easy

Ive just downloaded mozilla and the adverts was the same on there as mine.
What i have noticed i have to laptops set up the same way and one doesn't get the same adverts as me.
Ive also asked other AB ers some get different adverts than me so this could be why your not getting carol bloody vorderman. God help you when you do lol
