I've just received an AB notification email, so opened it up to find that not only does it date back to 2005 - there are no recent posts on it.

How could this be Ed?

If you add to a very old link (like yours), it does not appear on the recent post box.

You're right DD - that's because of two things:

1) I heard a whisper that any new posts going onto very old threads, wouldn't necessarily show up on the 'Recent Posts' list.

2) The Biddies use quite old threads to post on & it appears that they are exempt from any of those posts appearing on the new 'Recent Posts' list. Only the Ed could explain why that is! ;o}

I have just had a word with my butler and he thinks it must be serendipity ...by which one accidentally discovers something fortunate, especially while looking for something else entirely.
On the other hand he reckons it could just be RSI of the search engine .
But he did mention that all that running around in the grass barefoot in shorts is not good for ones aura in view of the bad weather we are having ..
