I have tried to post a couple of links but when I have used a word or phrase to replace it and click on it, the address of the section I am posting in has been added and it doesn't work.

What am I doing wrong?

I copied and pasted the details replacing the site address with the address of ma link and when I previewed it, it came up with THECORBYLOON 14/07/2007 all underlined.

I am at a complete loss...
I've seen a couple of those ofer the last few days, though it hasn't affected any of the links I've posted. Sounds like a buglet to tell the techy monks about

I have used the site mentioned by shaney and the format it produces is exactly the same as what I have written but if I write the tags and the address in Word and and copy & paste that, it doesn't work.

I have tried it now, writing the tags here and then copying & pasting the address and that works.

I'm using the new Windows Vista so I'm not sure if that has anything to do wi it .

Thanks all for yir help!
Your welcome TCL. - glad you've got it sorted out now.
Incidentally TCL, I'm about to upgrade from Windows XP to Vista - have you found it much more beneficial?
Question Author
I had to change ma laptop so got the Vista wi it. I've not had it for long and I'm still getting used to it. I tend to use the Excel more than anything else but I can't say I've had many grumbles. I had to buy a new router because I'm on AOL which was an unexpected cost.
Thanks for that TCL & good luck.

We have a friend who teaches IT at our local college, so will ask him about the benefits of upgrading to Vista.

Have a lovey day.
