whats the difference between a persons SOUL and a SPIRIT?

I believe that we are made of " a trinity" - body, soul and spirit...Is the soul the persoality of an individual whilst the sprit is the part that lives on after death? Or the other way around? Or does anyone else have there ownpersonal theories or believe soul and spirit don't exist?

body - like a shell to carry the persons etheric body (soul) while they are on earth.

soul - This is the true us. We are on earth to learn. When we die, we review our life with God and decide if we need another lifetime to learn more.

Spirit - This is another word for the soul.

This is my theroy, and it fits my and other peoples experiences better than other theroys.
In very basic terms the spirit is the dead soul. So you are right.
Body, mind and spirit...............
