Could someone Pleeeez explain this 'russian' thing?

This russian reference pops up in nearly every thread and I don't understand it. Can it please be explained to some of the newer people on here?

'the russian' is a name given to anyone who tries to copy the style of the original russian troll, but even though all the current copycats are pretty dire in comparrison the name still covers all.

there is a user who pops up very frequently under a variety of names, often calling 'herself' sexy russian or some such name. She is mostly harmless though often prurient, but occasionally posts unpleasant links and pictures. People get terribly wound up by her

ok. at the risk of being totally thick - what is a russion troll? and how do you spot one?

a troll is someone who turns up on chatrooms to abuse people and spread discord.

It's a term the clique apply to any new (green) member to whom they take a dislike and threatens to become too popular. There is an element of jealousy - 'if I can't be original then I'm damned if I'm going to let anybody else !'

she was just called sexyrussian to start with (i think) and she was expecting twins by a turkey baster as was lesbian, I'm sure if you put in sexyrussian in search button you will see or maybe not if they've all been banned. This one is the russian too as her username is lostrussian backwards. but this time she's straight and lost the twins. She's just basically full of ******** but that isnt why I reported her today it was sexually explicit.

As I've said before people that say we're in a clique just cant see that just because our opinions are the same doesnt mean we're a clique. yer you've made your mind up that we are all in a clique. so I said just because people agree on same thing doesnt mean they are ganging up on anyone. Its like calling the army a clique

no not at all but people can refrain from being abusive and hurting peoples feelings. I have answered and been nice to sexyrussian before. And why would anyone have to get up mine or lamberst arses or are you saying we must be special. I'm just nice to people. Treat others as you'd like to be treated yourself. :-)
