would it be possible to have a category in which to ask questions about etiquette in various situations in todays world? It could cover anything from "who should pay for the bridesmaids dresses" to "what to do if your neighbours cat is sleeping under your car and you accidently run it over" (two questions I am unfortunately familiar with)
no, luckily my cat is alive & well & still slinky:-) do feel bad about next doors though, but she was 19, arthritic, deaf, and prone to walking in front of cars coming & going on our shared driveway, think the neighbours should have kept her in their house instead of having her as a "garden cat" (is there such a thing?!)
Thanks for reply, new to site
I would have thought the 2nd one belonged in motoring. You simply take your car to the garage for a wheel wash. Other than that, a dead cat will not affect the performance of your motoring enjoyment.
If the remnants are presenting a slip hazard to your drive, then Home & Garden could help for scraping up / cleaning tips. But after all this you might need the Law section.
Thanks for the advice Octavius! Lol! Ta to China Doll too.
Have new cat dilemma, cute kitten invited itself in tonight, too young to be out on the tiles (wondering if its a replacement for flat cat) Do I keep it in and risk the neighbours thinking I'm stalking their cats, or throw it out to the mercy of the night?
By the way how can a kitten the size of a can of whiskas absorb the entire contents of said can without doubling in volume?
My ex did the last thing to my cat, a few days after he had a stroke. I had had the cat since I was a kid and we were just visiting mums because we knew he didn't have long left. I couldnt look at him for days.
Hi, slinkycat - you sound like you've got a good sense of humour! Come over to Animals & Nature & join all the other cat/dog/spider etc mad nutters on there!! K xx
Kitty does belong to neighbours, returned him after he'd eaten trough loads of food (and used the litter tray!) much to the relief of slinky bruno, who'd been looking at us as if we were the worst kind of unfaithful humans.
Bet he'll be back ;-)
