What with imposters, links to hardcore porn, steady abuse of regular posters, no apparent action when a myriad of people report a post, and severe server problems, this once helpful and fun site is being dragged into the mire. And the ed's very quiet - does he/she exist? Anyway, it's almost no longer worth coming on here. If it's not fixed you'll lose us all.

As sad as it sounds I adored AB, or I did, and lately it's becoming embarrassing coming onto it and seeing the calibre of posts, particular in that section.

I am however going to hang on in the vain hope it returns to what it was.

If you decide to smeg off completely, let me know beforehand so I can say goodbye?

I still think the techteam - if they exist - should deal with this by disabling IP addresses, not usernames.

I have been wondering why they dont regulate IP addresses, because that would end a lot of the problems.

I presume you are talking about B & S. I think it is a good site, there are a few who spoil most things and I cannot see why they get pleasure out of it. I can only put it down to these sad few who have nothing to do but cause trouble, they are the ones who you may live next door to, who play loud music or let their dogs bark 24/7 or who stand in the street lobbing their empty beer cans over your fence. The only answer is to ignore their post, if everone didn't give them the bullets to fire then they would get fed up and find another medium to play with.

Blessings! Being fairly new to AB, I haven't really had chance to notice anything amiss yet, but I would like to suggest that you, Whickerman, and several other apparent "regulars" , start off some wonderful, witty and interesting debates, by posting some thought-provoking questions...or is that the whole point - that you feel too many posters are being abusive or just plain silly? Could start to put things right though.......
