jno - Those are foul and would never get anywhere near my feet. But yes I have played just a minute many times and I'm suprisingly rubbish at it! (Very good at mallets mallet though).
Anyway I digress..... back to the shoes.
So last night I was just dropping off when I thought I hadn't really said anything about flip flops! Now they really are summer shoes, there's not much getting away with them in winter 'cept possibly for knocking around the house in but they really are a fantastic shoe and shouldn't be looked down on. They're comfortable, practical and you can get them in so many different styles as to be able to keep them casual or dress them up. Now my housemate used to get aches in her legs if she wore her flip flops when we walked in to town but I didn't so I guess I was just more used to them.
I'm also quite fond of the slipper sock as if it's really cold you can wear them in bed but I'm not sure they really class as anyform of shoe... perhaps footwear? I don't like slippers much though.
I really want a green pair of shoes at the moment but I can't really justify buying a random green pair just because I fancy them as I usually get shoes for sensible reasons as I have demonstrated here and am in no way obsessive about them.
Still need some new work shoes though. I hate buying shoes for work. :0(

Well I was thinking more of a metalic green but they're quite pretty... they do have the same sort of heel as the ones I couldn't walk in though and because they're green I'm not sure they'd be good for horizontal practices.
Did you know that if you take up pole dancing lessons you have to weah high heels to the class and not nasty trainers? I'm seriously considering it!

I happen to think these are rather fetching thank you very much. They go well with my day-glo cycling shorts and retro Frankie Says Relax t-shirt.

Perhaps, but my fetishism relates to the attribution of religious or mystical qualities to inanimate objects as a primary stage in the development of a culture or civilization.
As opposed to your commodity fetishism of course which is entirely shallow, and tacky (not in a tap shoe sense).
And if liking clogs is a recognised sexual fetishism then, well. Im a Dutchman and Ill eat my edam.
