Hi Ed,

Apologies if you do have this somewhere and I just haven't seen it buy anyway...

Is there or could we have a tutorial session/link for those who wish to use the private messaging service in Sports but don't actually know how to?

I've answered three pixels recently who wanted to use it and didn't know how so I think it might be a good idea in order that this facility is used to full advantage.

(I know, I know... two sensible suggestions from me on one day. I am actually running a temperature so that'll probably explain it).

See... this is where a tutorial would be useful!

Do you have the topics appearing over your options in the PM section as I do at the moment? If so then you can still access your messages by clicking in the top right hand corner.

Alternatively, do you have a lot in your deleted folder? Perhaps you've got too much in there?

I'm not sure if that'll help but you could give it a go.

thanks china but its an error, it comes up when i try to access my messages saying error then gives an error number

I can see that I have 8 PM's but when i try to get to the in box it boots me out and it has deleted my avatar and wont let me put on another one, even one of the AB ones provided

god thinking. Things I'd like to know include:

Messages seem to repeat all previous messages in a thread, but as there's only room for about 10 lines, the 4th or 5th message is cut off halfway, without the sender being aware. Any way round this? Could each message maybe only repeat the last message, not all of them?

How do you delete messages? I've tried but they just sit there saying 'deleted'.

I am open to receiving private tutorials from other ABers smarter than me if the Ed doesn't reply.

There should be something that says it even exists, there is nothing. I know it was a bit of a trial, but most trials try to include as many people as possible. Unless you saw the eds message a month ago which was buried in the blog, you have no way of knowing it is there.

Let alone instructions on how to use it.
