Since Elvis68 has decided to dedicate a thread to me I feel I am justified in a right of reply.
There are rules to this site, whether folk like them or no and one of them is "Discussions can get passionate but users should moderate their language and refrain from personal attacks and profanity. We encourage lively debate but name calling, harassment or abuse will not be tolerated."
There is a world of difference between uttering a profanity and writing a profanity. One is often said in the heat of the moment whilst the other involves thought and the typing of letters one by one.
When the spelling of a profanity is altered to ensure it passes the automatic censor, that takes further thought.
He used the c-word in such a way as to pass the automatic censor and in the full knowledge that it is one of the most offensive words in the English language. He says he fully apologises but then says he still thinks I am what he called me, that to me, is no apology.
It saddens me that such a word can be used toward me or anyone else and the person using it sees nothing wrong in its use.

I treated the thread with tongue in cheek contempt as I felt sure it was not long for this world. But have to agree with CD, perhaps people just didnt report it, although it is highly likely the AB Ed would have seen it anyway she likes a nose about just like anyone else.
If someone called me a c-word on here, and I know of a few who are tempted, in all honesty it would be like a water off a ducks back and I would be happy for them to be seen as the lowest contemptuous denominator on Answerbank.

I agree with Octavius.
The fact that you have written a long counter question shows that Elvis has got to you. It may be just annoyance, it my be anger, whatever, but I am sure it has given him a good chuckle. The worst thing you can do at pathetic name calling is be wounded. Then the people who use it have succeeded in their aim. In future, just treat it with the contempt it deserves.

Get over it you Loon, the C word is not the most offensive word in the English language...to you it may be, but to me it isn`t
Like Munkeeluvva has just said, I`d say it to your face as well as on here....Why?...because I speak my mind and one thing I don`t like is people like you
So, next time you see something you don`t like, by all means report it, but don`t expect the person to thank you afterwards, if you insist on going round poking your nose in and being a nosy g!t, then do expect some flak afterwards

I'm starting to think that on the end of every question an obligatory signature of "this is only the internet" should be added. I've been called a few names on here by one user, it wasn't the worst thing to happen to me that day/week/year. If someone on a website calling you a C u next tuesday is getting you riled then I think you must have a pretty good easy going life. Let it slide corby, if you paid it no reaction then it wouldn't happen again.
I am not going to give you advice about what you should or shouldn't do about behaviour that you consider offensive
but
please c.u.n.t is a wonderful anglo saxon word to describe female genitalia, which is beyond doubt a gorgeous place to visit. Some stupid men who are scared of warm, moist and dark places have tried to hijack the word and use it to call women names because they are scared that they had to come out of a c.u.n.t and unless they are gay, they want to keep going back in, but that's just them being little scardy cats.
So c.u.n.t is a word to celebrate, and if you call a man one its actually a compliment.

4GS, so you and your arguing with WM is relevant to AB then is it?
As for finding WM funny?, well that`s a yes and a no, I do find some of his threads funny and I also find some of them quite revolting
And you can call me an idiot of the highest order as much as you want mate, as long as you salute me first
And last but not least, wtf has this got to do with you anyway?
