timed out

Can anyone help me please? I need to access an internet page and keep getting a message "timed out " or "out of time" as the site takes a long time to open. How do I extend the time allowed (I think the message says 60 seconds) .

Links that time out are normally redundant. I would suggest going to the Home page (delete everything in the address bar after the .uk) and then searching for a probable new link from there
