First impressions are that it is very good. You have learned from the mess you made of the Sports Answerbank. Shame you cannot incorporate SAB back into the main site.

I hope this improves site speeds and functionality and makes for a more enjoyable and less frustrating AnswerBank for everyone.

It appears to have a spell check facility as well - What will Lucy Thompson do now?

Everytime I use the 'new and improved' version I get an error message and booted off, I can only post on the old format. How long to fix it Ed?

If you click on �my profile� in the top left.
Then scroll down the yellow box to where it says in blue �Change your Password�.
Then scroll down a bit more and you will see the red box �all threads I�m involved in� and just above that there are 2 tick boxes and you need to select/click on the one that says�..

�Yes, I would like to send and receive private messages�

No ...I am totally confused ....all that scrolling up and down ....it's all too big and confusing ....perhaps I am an old stick in the mud ...well perhaps I am just old full stop ! Not very user friendly for people who run Firefox either .I managed to get into my favourite category but lost the will to live after about five minutes .

Well I'm now back on the old system and I don't like it, want my avatar showing all the time.

I have found two problems so far with the new version.

1) The recent posts pod does not refresh - it takes you to the site's home page instead.

2) In the Q & P section, the page frequently loads but without any posts at all displayed. It can then take 15 or more refreshes before they can be seen again.
