As someone alluded to last night, I am indeed on the payroll of the Answerbank. They hired me to try to improve the standard of grammar on the site and also to maximize the number of posts by being contentious and controversial. The moderators are monitoring the replies to my posts with the intention of banning anyone who displays bad grammar or who posts vindictive replies.

Actually I find active pedantry quite boring and tedious and largely ineffective. I prefer to see a few examples of bad grammar here and there, rather than someone consistently pointing it out.

Frankly, I�d raver spend 10 minits wiv a txt spkr than too wiv yew. No offens nor nuffink, but a lot ov you�re posts boor me.
