.............when you click on a recent post, wouldn't it make sense to go directly to that post. Threads can be several pages long, and it's logical to go straight to the latest.

I have informed Ed. about this before but nothing was done. It's boring and tedious to thread through each page. I wish something could be done about this.

Longer threads have a 'Last Page' button? That enables you to get to the end without have to progress slowly page by page. But, having got to the end, it would be nice to have a 'First Page' button to get straight back to the beginning, if you wanted to.

That's one of the problems Kettle - the Last Page button has disappeared from the new look layout. It's all the scrolling that is so tedious. When you click on a recent post, wouldn't it make sense to be taken directly to the post itself - without the scrolling?
