Sooo Slowwww

Why is new AB so slow today?
Does anybody else have this problem?
And I have the 'Have Your Say' results on the homepage although I haven't voted and the questions still (unanswered) appear on the other pages.
Maybe it needs a kick start. Do you think if I give it a kick, it'll start ? ;-))

Same problem here, whether in the old AB or the new one.... and now the new one isn't working when I use Firefox, I had to get in through the side door using IE....
The new *improved* AB (now there's any oxymoron) has the strangest layout I have ever seen too - lots of >>>>> and degree signs and no pretty pictures or orange rectangles - do you think they forgot to put up the colour filters this morning ?

It's slower than dial-up, and the beta site is even worse. It's killing this site. I've managed to get on a couple of times, but trying to move topics is so painful I've given up. Really frustrating. It's so hard to believe they've put so much work into the new site and still allow it run so poorly.

I dont think the problem is the new version as the old one would be as bad as this from time to time too. It is a problem with the whole site. I bet a snail could run a marathon in the time it takes to load a page!
Ed, any chance of at least letting us know why its slow or a time line for when its going to be fixed?
