Bees song on Eon ad
Who sings the busy busy bees song on the TV ad, I think it is for energy company Eon? Is it Arthur Askey?

Ethel, I have to agree with Full Tilt. If that's a digitally remastered version of the Arthur Askey original then they have contrived to make Arthur sound like somebody else!!
I enjoy the TV version but whenever I hear it I think it lacks some of the bounciness of the Arthur Askey version.
On a related topic, here's a simple money making scheme. You go to your local record shop and buy a certain record/tape/CD and then play it to your friends ...of a certain age. You then ask them "who the singer is". With one voice they say "George Formby".
You then collect money from all of them because...it was George Formby's father! George based his entire act on his Dad's act and the two sounded identical!
