What is an avatar? Does it involve the beta version? What is a beta version?

"Beta version" is a new fan-dangled term for "trial version".
"Avatar" is a new fan-dangled term (not new word) for "symbol" or "icon".
It's the same as using "venue" for "location", and "siblings" for "brothers and sister".....They are oh so trendy doncha know:)
