This is the first week in a new year, in a new month, and in the reign of Queen Pauline. She has been so determined to win this crown that for several weeks she has been Practicing Posting at Intermettent Intervals some Interesting Information on Quizzical Questions. She now has an something else to occupy her mind - making up the links each week and transmitting them through her psychic powers to whoever has the ability to receive them.
You will have noticed that tonight's shrubbery has been opened once again by myself, gen2, as it will be for the rest of this month. Crofter has family commitments that will keep him away for the next few weeks and I have promised him that I will keep you all in control and add up the scores as they come in. Visitors to the shrubbery are warned that dabbling in the psychic realm can potentially damage your health so take care. Also, anyone borrowing the Campbell-Stokes sunshine recorder is asked to return it before sunrise.
As usual, the bonus points will be there for the taking as you pour out of the shrubbery at 9:00 am tomorrow and remember that the thread will be opened by Psychic Pauline at about 8.45 in the morning. The MM Link Game should then be officially launched by Queen Pauline when she posts her four words to be linked at 9.00am. Then it is up to yourselves.
The international version of this same game is called KM Links and kicks off at the unearthly hour of about 06.30am! Look out for seekeerz from Oz who provides the entertainment, refreshments and rule of law when dealing with that parallel game. In this case, the choice of words and their links are out of our control. They are the grey words chosen by Kate Mepham in her Crosswords in the Daily Telegraph on Saturday and Monday!
keep us under control gen2, I think you will have your work cut out tonight. Pauline will be hyper as she is the queen fro January, think of all the psychic messages flashing accross the shrubbery, never mind the magic mushrooms and booze.
Pauline you have your own stalker how famous is that? Why if thet person knows what is on here does he/she enter the place? Wonder if they were the sort of child who stuck their fingers in the fire to see if it was hot?
I shall be out with the snow ploughs tomorrow got an early start so up long before you rise your majesty,
just such a shame that some abers can only react to a different point of view by resorting to being rude .....
this shrubbery chat nonsense was started before chatterbank was re-instated .... why not accept chatterbank and go and chatter there instead of 'bunging-up' Q&P with 50 or more postings in the next hour?
