Hi you are not on your own daithebus I am st ill having the same trouble every time I want to go back it freezes up for about a minute or so it didn't use to be so slow Ethel said it is a fault with AB HTH Tez
Phew!!!...thought it was just me and my pc.....it happened 5 min ago. can blame everything that doesn't work on AB!!
As far as I can see - AB is messing with Internet Explorer - the program that browses the Net for you - a lot of people have reported it. Others have different problems - a universal fix is needed at AB HQ........roll on.....:o(
It's happening to me too - but if I wait long enough it usually sorts itself out.
None of my q`s and a`s going throughHave e-mailed AB yet again.....
wow such good response so quick hope they clear it as quick lol Tez
I do my browsing with Firefox instead of IE and am having no trouble

I had the same problem, repeatedly at least until yesterday. My venerable 6 year old Compaq decided it was time to quit and showed me the Blue Screen of Death. My tech said it was hardware related and I'd be best to spring for a new one. At any rate, I bought a new 'puter, but was really concerned that my choice of operating systems was down to Microsoft Vista, of which I had heard a lot of bad things. But behold and lo... it has performed flawlessly, even accepting my Norton anti-virus program in just a few seconds. At any rate, I came back to Answer Bank wondering if it would still have the same problems... but it runs smoothly and quickly!
I think jno is on to something... I still run IE, of course, but it appears the different operating system with IE has solved the problem that I still think is inherent in Answer Bank.
Best of luck!
I have found that AB seems to cope OK with shortish answers (<10 lines?)

Anything over that it struggles with and often crashes.

I have just put a long answer in travel and had to put it in as lots of small answers as it would not accept any long ones.
