I have recently taken over as web-master for a clubs web-site and forum, but as I am quite new to it I have been learning as I go along.
I have recently been asked if it is possible to increase the number of emoticons available when posting in the forums, anybody have any idea how i go about it and where to get some emoticons from?

Thank you

Is the forum actually hosted on the server that hosts the club's website or is it external? Many websites actually have their forums hosted by an external service; if so, you're limited to the emoticons provided by that service.

However, assuming that your forum is actually part of the club's website, this might help:

PS: There are loads of sites on the web which offer free emoticons but many (most?) of them seem to have some form of spyware associated with them. I've given that link because it's from a generally reliable source (Download.com) and Googling 'smileycons' doesn't throw up loads of posts about malware.
