It might be useful to be able to post to two or more different subjects at once.

I'm sure you used to be able to do this - has that facility been removed, and if so, can it be restored? If memory serves, answering a question placed on more than one section placed the answer on all the questions in all the sections simultaneiously - can this be re-introduced?

Or even delete questions posted more than once by the same person.

Both these would (I assume) require the question title to be identical in each post. This is not always the case.

I disagree - it would encourage people to post questions to 3 or 4 or 7 categories, merely on the pretext of not being sure which category is the correct one. It would result in the site being clogged up with loads and loads of duplicates.

We get enough duplicate posts already. That would just increase the number.
