I have been reduced to tears by the comments of two people when I asked a question about a Hillier's quiz. They have no idea about my mental fragility and comments in text are permanent. Can there be some guidelines please. I often use your site but rarely post and have often been surprised at what people write in reponse. I dont think I shall be using your site again as I have enough problems in my life without total strangers making it worse.
ignore them. They don't know you and you don't know them. They are just pixels on a page. Why be concerned about what total strangers think about someone they don't know?
You said it seaslug, total strangers so who gives a hoot! Ya know, when i first joined this site, i used to get upset by some of the comments, now i just bite back or mostly let it go right over my head.
Chin up and keep doing what you're doing.
i think that if you are fragile enough to be reduced to tears, you should not come here. There is no way to montitor the comments made and make them all "nice", because people's dfinition of nice is different. Plus why would people want the whole world to be nice - i couldn't think of anything worse
4getmenot. the people who make up these quizes should put all the answers on the back of the quiz so people do not have to waste 1 hour looking for the answers
I'm with the Doc and Bednobs i'm afraid. Unless there's another thread you're talking about I fail to see anything aggressive in that thread up there ^^^
If posts like that make you cry- I have to wonder how on earth you manage to get through life in the first place to be honest.
Sorry to be so blunt- if you're still upset over that episode maybe AnswerBank isn't for you? Or indeed any forum!
