I am looking in vain for a post which somebody made a week or so ago. I can't remember the exact question title and I can't remember which category it was posted in. At present, we can only do a search in one category at a time and single words which make no sense on their own are refused. It would be very useful to be able to search by key word in all categories. (If anybody can help me find the post, it was from someone asking what job Answerbankers do.)

SteveD, it was under People & Places and the question was "Work, Work, Work", if I remember correctly.

Thanks, Elfin, I found it following your suggestion. First though, I went to People & Places and did a category Search for "work". It came up with 207 replies, none of which was the post I was looking for. It just proves that Answerbank needs a better way of looking for old posts.
You can search the whole site if you go to the home page, the search box there says "site search". However, if you had tried this and typed in "work" it would ahve come up with 2990 replies! The search facility doesn't seem to put findings in reverse chronological order, which would be the most logical way of ordering them.
If I'm correct in guessing how the site works then it would be fantastically simple to change things and "put findings in reverse chronological order".
