See your doctor, there are things that can help to stop excess sweating. Also try to avoid wearing 3 tops as this obviously makes the condition far worse.
Have you been to see your doctor about it? Please don't be embarrassed to see your doc, it's honestly nothing he/she hasn't seen before (you've watched embarrassing illnesses, right? LOL).

I'm not sure if this is possible because of your age, but I know that botox injections in the underarm area works wonders for excessive sweating, but it's not a long term solution - I think it lasts a few months though.

I've seen it happen on TV in the underarm area and a male friend of mine had it done on his head as he had the same problem there.
Wear clothes which let your armpits breathe, light fabrics which don't cling to your underarms and cause them to get warm and wider sleeves or sleeveless ones.

Maybe difficult if you have a set uniform but see if you could get away with a sleeveless school shirt.

Keep the underarms shaved and as clean as possible (antibacterial washes are good like Sanex or Carex).

A bit of unperfumed talc on a big cheek brush can also give extra confidence.

The Mitchum antiperspirant deodorants are very good, esprcially the roll on which you could follow with a spray (from a distance) of an unperfumed antiperpirant like Sure. Some of the sports ones are stronger and more body responsive.

Make sure you note the difference between an antiperspirent (stops you perspiring/sweating so much) and a deodorant (covers odour) on what you buy.

There are stronger ones like Driclor but they can be quite harsh on your underarms (you can ask a pharmacist in somewhere like Boots about them).

Keep your feet cool as that will tend to keep the rest of your body cooler.

You could take some wet wipes in your bag for a freshen up, again, avoid perfumed ones. You can also get little bottles of antiseptic hand gel which may help in a freshen up.

It is the bacteria in sweat which smells so avoid anthing too perfumed else the smells can mingle and make it feel worse.

You can use a body spray fto smell nice, just not under your arms.

Hope this helps :) x

You possibly have a condition which causes abnormal sweating. You should really visit your GP and seek some solutions.

I know Botox can be injected into the arm pits to stop excess perspiration and if your hands sweat alot too, there is a minor operation that can be done to stop this too.
Hiya QueenBee...

As Jenna mentions, there are stronger anti-perspirants around. I used to have this problem too and found Driclor ok, but it did give me a rash at times. I then discovered Linden Voss's Triple Dry and I find it ok to use (and I've got sensitive skin !) . I buy mine in the larger Tesco's or Boots.

If you don't want to use this sort of product, then you definitely need to visit your GP again for further advice.
Have you explained the situation to the head or could you speak to someone else at school like a school nurse or form teacher or head of pastoral things or other teacher you get on well with? If not, could your parents speak to someone?

Would they notice the little mini wipes like a mini travel pack (have a look in the baby section of somewhere like Boots or a supermarket). Isn't it just like carrying tissues?

Or could you carry a pack of tissues and some antibacterial hand gel, can't see how they can complain about you being hygienic!

What do you have to wear as a uniform? Could you try a cooler material or a larger blouse so that they don't cling to your armpits so much?

Have you tried something like Mitchum or driclor? Driclor can make your underarms really sore though.

One thing to bear in mind is that if you naturally sweat a lot it will come out somewhere, hence keeping your hands cool as well.

Have you had any blood or thyroid tests done or anything like that?

Please don't take this the wrong way but could weight be an issue, am honestly just trying to help x

This can often be got cheaper in some supermarkets and places like Bodycare.

There are medicines which can help (anticholinergics), maybe have a chat with your GP about whether they are an option for you and consider asking him to check your thyroid.

Just found this...

Oral Medications

"Oral anticholinergic medications such as glycopyrrolate (Robinul) are not commonly used for this condition, because in order to work they often produce side-effects like dry mouth and blurred vision".
just a point - I don't want to take it for granted that you know the difference, a lot don't - but what deodorant are you using? There are many brands that are basically perfume - are you using one clearly marked as antipersperant? Is it a good brand? If not, before going to extremes, try Sure, it's very good.
I completely agree with Juggler re Linden Voss. I suffered for years with this problem when i was younger, and it was only when I tried one of Linden Voss's earlier products, that I found real help. Good luck;-)
I used to have the same issue and by chance I bought Driclor - you can get it from supermarkets or chemist, its pricey about 6 and its a oll on. Just follow the instructions and it really works for me, although its a little uncomfortable wearing it as it stings, but you wear it at night only so you sleep through it. Hope it works for you.
hi queenbee, i can totally sympathise with your problem. i am 33 now and still have this condition having started with it 20 years ago. about 13 years ago i read an article about anhydrol forte and took it to show my doctor after trying various unsuccessful methods. i have never looked back it really does work. it is a roll on you apply after a shower just before bed and wash off in the morning, i used it initially for 3 nights but after that found once a week was enough, it really is that good!the only downside is it does make me itch whilst its on but that is a small price to pay for something that quite litterally changed my life! good luck hope this helps x
Please tell me if you find anything I am 14 and I cant sit on a bloody chair without getting a wet bum :'(
Thing is all the anti perspirants are for underarms and my whole body sweats.
I posted a question like yours && got alot of answers check them out. Wether they work or not I have no idea but talk to me by like posting an answer to my question or summit.
If I ever find anything I will tell you
Thanks
