According to my "profile" I've given 942 "answers"

BUT ... I've had 8 removed.

Do I count these 8 towards my first 1,000?

When posts are removed does it necessarily mean that you personally have done something wrong? I just presumed it meant a thread had been removed and your post(s) just happened to be in that particular thread?

No bravejordy , answers removed are not necessarily in any way rude , offensive , or profane , and may be innocent , removed along with a thread , or as a repeat , or as in the submit button multi-submitting when the site is faulty. xxx
