If anyone cares to visit the News category (which is incidentallly the quietest one) there you'll find at least five questions which should have been moved to other sections of the site and most of those have been there for days.....How about getting the existing categories working before throwing loads of new ones in the mix?

I'm so with you on this - it really annoys me when people post questions in the wrong sections - people have been posting advert questions in here for goodness sake! However these people don't get told, more often than not people just answer them, i'm not saying you should have a go but before answering your question perhaps it is worth saying "BTW your question really should have gone in...section" then answer. I agree that some should be sorted out before we get loads of new ones in but think my earlier posting of voting on new categories could help moderate a tidal wave of new categories.

I'm with you there - most board/forum software allows the mod/s to do this, so surely it can't be too difficult? Also (as mentioned below), people often post multiple questions that push others off the first page when they could post them all as one question. These should be merged.
