AB Editor ID

AB Ed - is there any way you can make your ID more unique? I am beginning not to trust anything on the site - and there are so many parading as yourself it's hard to know which one is REALLY you!

Sorry - I am a bit of an internet virgin - but have I read this correctly? Do you mean that when you see a msg in italics signed AB Editor it may not be the Editor after all? But how can you tell?

Hi vittoria - I thought you had been on Answerbank since the early days, which would hardly make you a virgin! If you know a bit of HTML you can post in italics, and it seems that you can set yourself up with a user name such as A.B.Ed or something like that. I agree with Brawburd, I'm getting suspicious of everything!

As the gaps in this thread will suggest, any ID that pretends to be AB Ed, or any variatoin thereof, will be deleted and banned.

Thanks for response Ed. However, responses can still be made with pretence IDs and at times when there is no active editing they could remain on site for a while. Can I reiterate the original question for your attention?

But please don't let everyone have icons (or avatars to give them their nerdy official name) next to their UserName - it would look awful and cluttered.
