He believes that she suffers from PMT &he is trying to cope with this alone,as she is in denial &doesnt want to believe there is anything wrong with her.He has looked up websites on the subject &everything seems to be the 'symptoms' she has. Finally persuaded her to go see a doctor yesterday, although she went reluctantly &the last words from her mouth'I'm going to prove you wrong'.She saw a lady doctor &to cut a long story short, came home to tell him the doctor told her there's nothing wrong with her &it must be her husband who is the cause of everything.I've been present during a few of the arguments(though not getting involved in any way)&it really is all her having a go at him,all he seems to do is defend himself verbally throughout. All the websites we hv looked at all say that any Dr who is seeing a patience with suspected PMT will ask the them to keep a diary for a couple months, this will determine any pattern. My SIL was not told anything of the sort &basically came home gloating that there is nothing at all wrong with her &it's all him. My Bro is at his wits end.He today went along to the same Dr taking the diary he has kept &discuss the matter with her,the Dr basically said that there is no real thing as PMT,it must be him &she suggested they went along to a marriage guidance to resolve their 'problems'.I cannot believe this myself,I'm trying everything I can to try to help them both.He loves her dearly &wants to save his marriage but the way things are going he can't cope for much longer. He asked the same Dr if he could have some anti-depressants as this all getting him down &without any further questions, she prescribed him anti-depressants,I cannot believe she did not try to diagnose anything just willy-nilly gave HIM pills!?
