please help if you can . My man and I have booke to go away next sat for a week to a campsite in Stockton on Tees. I have beem told this is a beautilful part of the country and we really need this break . We have recently bought a moterhome and want to try out the awning, however I have been told the weather is going to be bad ,anyone up there know of a good long term forcast site, or just your general knowledge of the area would be really helpful

Try met check - really good weather website - more detailed than BBC.

Just go to UK & Ireland and enter the nearest postcode .

Hubby and I hired a motorhome a couple of years ago and had a super holiday in it, going from place to place.

sorry mrs chappie could not answer earlier as hubs was watching a film he had downloaded.
my new moter home is neat and i have called her rosie,
just want to get away to site that is within walkig distances for pubs ect
my man had a stroke earlier in year so not had chanc eto use her

Trish, sorry for the late reply, have only just noticed your post.

Sorry to hear about your OH's stroke .... hope you are both coping well.

We went to Padstow, Cornwall, along with a few other places - mainly to go to Rick Stein's seafood restaurant. It's somewhere we have always wanted to go, and we weren't disappointed.

We loved it in the motorhome, stopping at different places every day. We'd like to do it again sometime. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Our only 'grumble' was that we went in February, and it got mighty cold at night.
