How do you know you've been banned?

I haven't been banned yet, but my goodness I think I have come pretty close a few times.

How do you first guess that you are?
Do you get an e-mail from the Ed?
Do you find that when you go to post something or reply to something, it says 'suspended' or suchlike?

I am afraid JJ may have been banned as a result of a post I started. Maybe we did get a bit carried away(?!) How long is someone banned for?

I need to know because I fear my time is near...

You get the sign in screen but can't sign in. Either that or you get struck by a bolt of lightning.

I don't think you are informed. You first notice when you type an answer and try to post it and nothing happens. So you think there is a technical problem and try and post it again, and again, and again. Now sometimes there is a technical problem, but because you have tried to post it again and again and again you get banned anyway from overposting.

Then suddenly you realise that all your postings have disappeared completely!

If you are already logged in, then any answers you submit do not show up on public displayJayne will let us know in her own way if she has been banned or not.......look out for 'DungeonJayne'

You try to sign in and get:

'This User Name / Password combination is invalid'.

'allegedly' ;-)

Just a bit miffed off; out the door with her coat muttering something along the lines of "...freedom of speech" etc.

So how do I become dungeonbananas, if need be? Or will I get banned just for asking that?

You have to register with another user name and have another email address to do so.

Some times you get the username invalid, as did happen to me yesterday,
That notification has now gone, i can log in but not post,

Not as logic, anyway,
maybe tomorrow.

when you post an answer it doesn't appear. Other than that all seems ok.
