When a question has been posted, the questioner gets an email when an answer comes. I presume this email is repeated for additional answers. Could the people who have posted answers have their names put on the thread's mailing list, too? I have followed Noddy's advice to put "Answerbank Marsh" into Google and press "Repeat the search with the missing items included" and this has just enabled me to find the thread I wanted to check. However, I haven't posted that much yet. Your regulars must find masses of items with no indication as to which threads are still active and interesting.
Not possible - at present. A similar system, or being able to log in and view all threads you've contributed to, have all ben proposed and are under consideration.
Hi Marsh, to get around this problem I use the favourites option on my web browser. Anything I want to follow is added to my favourites list and I can then call it up when I want to check for any new posts. This suggestion was made by another AB user some time ago and I've found it very useful.
I have just missed an opportunity to thank our Noble Editor and his team for all the hard work they put in. Thank you very much. I love the site and do appreciate your efforts. The e-mailed link is very convenient, the "Has your question been answered?" page is great and I'm looking forward to the new thread-tracing system when you get it up and running. KUTGW
