out of date questions

i noticed some questions dated 2001! can we not get rid of these maybe?? especially as the context eg holiday deals wont apply to anyone now.

It's not using up too much space and it provides a valuable database for searchers (even those using Google et al). OK so every so often one or two of the questions asked will become obsolete after a certain period, but setting up a system to detect which are unnecessary and which aren't - and when - would be costly and a tad pointless.
