Apostrophes

Why don't these show in entries in Answerbank - it makes me/us look illiterate!

Probably marks are missing too but I just noticed apostrophes in my new question.

Apostrophes don't show when you view a question from a main topic but do show if you actually open the question. it's the same with / so if people type 1/2 it looks like 12 until you open the question.

no idea why it should do that though.

That's very clever of you to have worked that one out! It makes "me/us" look like nonsense without the slash.

I wonder if Answerbank could sort it out ......

I hadn't spotted the apostrophes until you pointed it out, I've spotted the / before when people have posted things like "i have just walked 3/4 miles to town and back" which makes you do a double take when you think they've just walked 34 miles to town!

The ampersand doesn't always show up correctly either.

its the same with snagged's name, it shows up as a square till youve viewed it in full
