Tall work colleague

Hmmm, have a colleague at work who is rather tall, and is complaining about desk space, underneath.
I was thinking of suggesting a small platform of some sort to be erected for the desk to be placed on, to give him more leg room.
Anyone know if there is anything similar on the market, or if there is a desk that caters for the taller individual...

there are indeed such things as adjustable height desks

Can't you ask your H and S department or occupational health dept to undertake an ergonomic risk assessment. You might find that they have to provide appropriate equipment for him to do his job.
Amputate his legs?
