Smilies sent by email

Hi, someone has sent me some smilies from smiley central through email. If I save the smilies to my own computer, will that be ok or will it still try and install something nasty on my pc?

Smleys are usually just pics and they are usually safe.

This site has many, and it is safe

I don't want to install it on my own pc as I've heard it can cause problems, I just wanted to save them and upload to photobucket, so I can use them without having to install anything. I wasn't sure though if by doing this I would still be getting anything nasty. I will check out that other link too :)

I've done that with a few smileys - uploaded to PB - without problem
