Would a puppy/dog cage be suitable as an indoor rabbit cage?

I would like to get two house rabbits but I'm not sure what sort of/size cage to buy. we were considering letting them have the run of our spare room during the day and even at night (when we get in from work they would have the run of the whole flat!) But I'm not sure whether I should limit them to a cage while were at work and/or while were sleeping? I would prefer not to but if I do I was thinking of getting a dog cage as they seem to be a lot bigger then rabbit cages, I've found one on Ebay it says it is made of epoxy, does anyone know if this would be poisonious to a bunny (I'm worried they might decide to chew the cage!)
Thanks, Kirsty

You would be better with a puppy pen, which comes in sections and can be as big/small as you like. One section has a gate in it, so you can get in and out. Try googling Croft dog cages, they do a very good selection.
