I stopped smoking it in 1985. I was a bit of a fiend before that but we used to use it like it was going out of fashion. Haven't missed it a bit. Why take a drug that makes you want to fall asleep? Now magic mushrooms: there's a proper drug... (haven't taken that since 1988). If any police are reading this I am lying: just showing off in front of my make-believe friends.

Drugs are bad...I personally don't need them I have enough of a good time without them - they're just dumb and really mess you up. I have never felt the urge to want to try anything like pot or magic mushrooms. But as I like to say - each to their own.

sweetheart took the words right out my mouth, never have never will. i don't know, for some reason i just have no interest in drugs or alcohol. i've been to he** and back in my life, never cared to even try it. i am and have lots of fun without, if i did pot you would have to tie me up.

I used to, but quit when I was 18 as I had a serious drug problem (heroin, yes at 18). When 1 has to go so do all of them. Anyway, it more often than not only served to make me all paranoid and completely retarded and depressed.

Sometimes I would love to have some, on a fun night with some good friends, but just remind myself of how terrible my life was back then and why even gamble with it?

I prefer standing on toilets!

Tried pot once as a kid(about 15), like most(I guess) as a result of peer pressure.   All it gave me was a sore throat.  No buzz, no feeling of enlightenment.

Since then I've always gone with the old adage, corny though it sounds:

Drugs are for losers.

It always amazes me how 'some' people who are skint & can't afford to buy proper food, etc., manage to find the money for smoking pot, or taking any illegal drugs come to that! The End!

I smoked pot many years ago - all it did was make me paranoid.  I know people who smoke it now and they just look like fools when they're stoned.

Hey who are you lot kidding ? fact between 15 and 45 age group 40% admit to taking some form of illegal drugs on a regular basis im 18 and most of my friends take e^s on a recent trip to cardiff  doormen were selling them on the door i dont take them my self because im alergic to lots of perscription drugs.If all of you that have posted on this thread dont take dugs then there must be a lot that do that have not posted!!( as for the doormen i dont think this is just confined to Wales)

I have smoked it in the past, at first in an attempt to fit in and find out what all the fuss was about, and at uni because it was fun and made you talk about absolute rubbish whilst finding everything absolutely hilarious...now it just makes me feel really sick, so I haven't been near it in two years. And I giggle a lot anyway, so I don't think I need it!

My brothers still smoke it I think, but only occasionally.

I think anyone selling hard drugs such as heroin cocaine should face execution. They are peddlers of misery. As for cannabis if i remember the Portuguese goverment wanted English football fans (correct me if i am wrong) to take cannabis instead of alcohol as they felt they would not cause trouble under the influence of cannabis.Vinny100 well done another question that tackles another interesting issue. As for your question when i was at university it was available to all and yes i used it at that time.I think the high acohol content of alco pops can cause more trouble(just look at town centers on friday and saturday nights) than cannabis which is a relaxant.
