thought i'd thread this early in day as NoMercy will get no sleep, if on tonight, otherwise!!!

when i was around 19 my friends and i used to frequently go up to london to go to clubs like le beat route, billys and the wag club - one night when we were coming out of the wag club it was really foggy and visibility was bad, and around 4.00am - we started walking to the taxi place nearby and there was hardly anyone around - we then passed a gentlemen who was dressed in victorian style gear and very smart in appearance - we thought a bit odd but maybe he was in fancy dress coming out from a party! he smiled politely and passed by us - we could hear his shoes on the pavement as he walked- after he passed us about 5 seconds later we could'nt hear his walking anymore - so a few of us went back to see where he had gone,as we were near soho square and in the open, by the park bit! - no buildings for him to go into or anything - anyway he completely vanished - it really freaked out a couple of the girls and if it had not been for the fact that we all pretty drunk would have shook us all at the time. it was really reallyweird! - where did he go and what was he doing there near soho square?

OMG - I was going to post this same question! You are psychic - how paranormal is that??? ;-)

I have, in dreams, predicted the death of two family member. My brother died two weeks after my dream (and no, he wasn't ill) and my grandad died 3 days after a dream I had about my brother (who was already dead at the point).

I saw my brother walking across the road towards me, with another figure, shrouded in light. Shocked, I asked him what he was doing back here, and he replied, "I'm just passing through, I'm coming to collect someone."

Three nights later, my Nan saw all these flashing orbs above his armchair (I was in Spain at the time, btw) and he suddenly clutched his head and keeled over. He had a brain haemorrhage. Spooky or what? :-/

joggerjayne - if they report seeing 7ft large white rabbits or a ghoul with a cloak coming after their necks then yes - fair comment - i'm hoping that there may be some real ones - or at least unexplained - we'll see!!

similar to yours,ianfran, i saw a man walking along the side of a country road. It was pitch black apart from my car headlights and yet they caught his face and hands (pure white) from quite a way away. He walked along side of road towards us as we drove. He didnt falter or stumble at all and yet the bank next to road is full of cutaways for drainage and i had my lights on full beam (i didnt realise).

He was dressed in a sort of quaker outfit, long frock coat and big hat. he didnt seem to see us as we drove at him or past him.

I was talking to a woman here in the reef the other night who described a number of encounters she�d had over the years. As we spoke she mentioned seeing a liver and white spaniel. Over the next hour or so,she saw it several times,and also said she felt it was connected to someone else in the room as the �pparition left when he did. I have only ever felt 'presences' in the corner of my eye..that is as far as it goes for me.

I've never seen a ghost, but I have had times when I have felt a presence. Might have been the wind changing direction for all I know but I thought it might be my Grandad so I took comfort from it.

little CRX is still spooking me. Last few days hes told my mum that a big tree is going to fall in her garden. and then told us he was seeing ghosts, but when we told him they werent real (you cant start talking paranormal stuff with a 3 year old) he said "they are, but its ok cos theyre just old people"

Has anyone had the duvet pulled off them at night, because that has happened to me a lot of times?

Also I suffer with sleep paralysis, where I wake up and my brain is fully alert, but I cannot move a muscle or even call out. I have learned how to deal with it, tho. It affects a lot of people and thankfully,it doesn't happen to me all that often now. Only when I've got a lot on my mind.

rinkins - i'm pretty sceptical myself but there are just some things you CANT figure out such as feeling a loved one looking over you from afar - you just get a presence - odd i know but true!

it is a shame that programmes like most haunted ridicule the whole theory that there are ghosts in certain "haunted" locations - most haunted is all fake as i know for fact - know someone who has worked a cameraman on show and said that when derek acorah yvette fielding her husband karl who is co-producer nad that baldie bloke had a "funny turn" they would have a quick fag and a break and back on in no time! go on to you tube and put in "most haunted - mary loves dick" - one of the funniest "serious" moments ever|!!! tell me what you think!

i agree with the most haunted thing, i think that alsosome false info was fed to derek too to see if he used it.

I have just joined a group of investigators and they have mixed opinions about this stuff but like trying to find logical answers to things as well as trying to find proff that there is something out there.

noMercy, Ive not had the duvet pulled off but the bed in my flat used to shake in middle of night sometimes (I lived alone). I let a friend of my mums stay there when i moved out and it did it to her too. Never found an explanation for that.
