Well true enough the powers of google do appear lost on them, but how and who enforces what is a sensible question or not, is the problem?

Sites can choose to eliminate drivel, and even a great deal of humour and good sense. All they need to do is appoint a handful of moderators with banning POWER, and let them loose. Then you get hilarious stuff like 24 hour posting bans, grade 1 warnings, grade 2 spankings, all sorts of other stuff which ultimately becomes the PermaBann.

One person's definition of "drivel" may differ wildly from another's.

Different people have different standards. Someone may deem something trivial which another person, for example, may find worthy.

Apart from the rudeness of your phrase, you do not give any example of what, in your opinion, could be construed as "total drivel". Therefore it is difficult for anyone else to make an appraisal, yes?

9 out of 10 of the answers that ethel posts here can easily be googled.

Meaning that a majority of posts here arent necessary ,,, except fopr the fact folk feel theyd rather post here than google.

we already egt asked and shown previous similar questions.yet folk still post stuff like cheap flights?

I disagree COMPLETELY...

for starters how can you justify what is a 'ood' question to what is a 'bad' question??
Surely if someone has something to ask no matter how silly they can do so on this...

Brain power has nothing to do with asking quesions. I truely believe the smartest of people ask questions. The wise think they know it all, really they dont!
